Ryna Frankel is a visual artist living in the U.s. She makes sculptures, paintings, and installation that usually involve the color pink. She likes to think that color is useful in creating tone in artwork, and pink has fun, girly, happy, cute, and oppressive references. Ryna is obsessed with cute things. They make her heart feel like exploding. She is originally from Chicago and has also lived in Philadelphia, Jerusalem, London, and Brooklyn. She received her MFA from the University of Washington in 2017.
